The Nobel Peace Prize this year shall once again remind us the importance of freedom of expression and political participation both of which are often taken for granted by folks like us. We all live in a place where we can criticize the government and yet we exercise self-censorship. We all live in a place where we can vote and yet some of us never go near a voting booth...

People like Liu Xiao Bo makes me proud to be a Chinese and at the same time feel shameful of the current administration.
