Peter, thanks for this informative article on investing.  The more one examines the outcome of various forms of investing (property, stocks, bonds, foreign exchange and what not), the more one realizes that investing  and gambling are basically the same.  Both are games of probability with unpredictable outcomes.  Both investors and gamblers are driven by greed.  But for some strange reasons, investors are considered respectable while gamblers are not.
